INTERNATIONAL WATERS
Virgin Voyages set out to create an epic sea change in the cruise industry. So how could they inform and engage travel agents (or First Mates, in Virgin speak) in way that was just as disruptive as the brand itself? This was our task. We created the travel industry’s first ever edutainment Facebook group, exclusively for travel professionals. And at the helm of the educational experience was our video series called International Waters. Produced in partnership with VICE, we brought together a drag queen, a comedian, a designer, a marine biologist and a Virgin brand expert. What resulted was a 5-part series that not only educated First Mates on the Virgin Voyages brand, but also entertained them along the way.
